Welcome to the CU Shakespeare CoLab!

Our multidisciplinary team strives to provide a rich, multi-media experience of William Shakespeare’s plays.  Our texts, based upon the Folger Shakespeare Library’s free, open source editions, contain student-created digital annotations to enrich the experience of reading Shakespeare’s work. We hope that this website provides valuable tools for both students and teachers of Shakespeare, all produced by people who currently study and teach Shakespeare.

Our first annotated play is Twelfth Night and we invite you to see what the digital annotations offer. Check out Twelfth Night here! While viewing the digital text, notice words of phrases that are blue.
